Guarding against cults and coercion
Helping families find trustworthy resources to overcome spiritual and religious abuse
Our Mission
Save Our Children is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping families prevent and recover from trauma and other harms stemming from participation in cults and life in environments of coercive control that erodes autonomy, self-thought, confidence and self-esteem. We seek to provide helpful resources and reliable information that assist families and larger communities in their search for truth and efforts to break the chains of spiritual abuse. We also seek to expose cults with hopes of eradicating them and warning others away from them. Our founders and volunteers include people who have experienced profound relational harms and an array of other damages caused by cult involvement.
Save Our Children seeks to build a network of missionally aligned partners and welcomes requests for more information.
On Our Radar
Ruckmanites
Ruckmanism is on the move in Colorado with the opening of a new campus in the Denver suburb of Wheat Ridge — and we urge people to avoid it. Ruckmanite churches deceptively try to identify themselves as Baptists though their teachings stray greatly from the Christian denomination’s teachings — and from the Bible itself. Please read more about the Ruckmanites’ beliefs and practices — and the diversionary tactics they use to try to convince others that their church is not cultic.
